He is the son of a preacher and nurse.

The British actor is the son of an English pastor and a Zimbabwean nurse. While he was born in England, for most of his childhood he spent a lot of time in Zimbabwe, until he moved back to London at 14 years old.

He was a student at The Drama Centre in London.

Up until Page was a university student, acting had more or less been a hobby. It was when he came across The National Youth Theatre that everything changed for him. After being surrounded by other passionate individuals in the craft of <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/art/melanie-hamrick-a-night-at-the-ballet-nutcracker-don-quixote-pandemic" target="_blank" rel="noopener">theater</a>, Page knew that acting is what he wanted to do.&nbsp;

Before The Duke of Hastings, there was Chicken George in Roots and Leonard Knox in For The People. In the revival of cult-classic Roots, Page starred as Chicken George, a biracial social magnet who struggles to find his place within his family legacy. Page may actually be a serious contender for the role with his high popularity and perfect placement in the right age range. However, the producers confirmed they want their next 007 to be committed for at least a decade, and since Page only agreed to <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/rege-jean-page-not-returning-bridgerton-season-2-netflix" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bridgerton for one season</a>, that time commitment may be a bit too long.
