Ahead of his Venetian wedding to fiancée Lauren Sánchez, he is preparing a detailed prenup for her to sign, and their negotiations seem to be reaching a finishing point.
The Amazon founder has an estimated fortune of $223 billion, and according to an expert attorney, Sánchez could receive $1 million for each year they are married if they separate. Property isn't off the table either, they said. Any further official details on the prenup have yet to be made public for now. In the meantime, it's known he proposed with a 20-carat ring worth an estimated $2.5 million, if that's any indication of how prenup talks may go.

Sánchez is an American media personality and businesswoman, who has increasingly gained media attention due to her relationship with the founder of Amazon. Shortly after they announced that they were divorcing their respective spouses, several reports emerged in the media regarding their romantic involvement. Sánchez and Bezos' relationship came to light in January 2019. Her net worth is an estimated $30 million.
Sánchez has worked as a television host and reporter, being one of the first female correspondents for the news program Extra. She has also co-hosted The View and worked as a local news anchor in Los Angeles. In addition to her media career, Sánchez is an entrepreneur and founded the audiovisual production company Black Ops Aviation, which specializes in aerial filming.
