If we had to describe Daniele Calcaterra as a designer, we would say he is a visual poet who creates graceful and real clothes. His latest collection is nourished by his pure creative soul, that of a designer himself who gives body to his thought by giving clothes both male rigor and feminine accents by embracing nudes and flounces.
The materials are important and heavily sought after like heavy drapes in felted cashmere covered in raw wool, obvious and rigid threads alternating with silk and a resin-like substance which gave some pieces a primordial expressive function. Colors ranged from gray to black with some concession to bordeaux and white. Perfect colors for fall and winter temperatures; an effective combination of easy-to-wear pieces and special clothes.
