Many people feel overwhelmed as New York Fashion Week officially begins, but it looks as if Bella Hadid and Michael Kors are ready to party. Last week, the designer launched the Spring 2019 campaign for MICHAEL Michael Kors, which stars the supermodel as she shows off the fun and glamour in a jet-setting lifestyle. David Sims's bold capture of movement and Hadid's ability to make army green and cargo pants look chicer than ever before were cause for celebration, so an elite crew of fashion insiders and up-and-comers flocked to the Dolby Soho space on Tuesday for an immersive party.
The event's most striking visuals were brightly colored takes on the Michael Kors charm, which prominently features in the spring campaign. Using Dolby screens and audio, the campaign became a visceral experience through a recreated set (trampolines, props, and all!), an MK charm-themed playground, and music by DJ Francois K. It seems the celebrities and industry figures in attendance had a lot of fun with the interactive experience, and photos from the event prove it was captivatingly Instagrammable.
