The list usually comes to no surprise, as it features presidents of superpower countries, tech giants, and Academy Award-winning celebrities. Come 2018, it has never been more important to handpick the most influential people in today's world. Sexual harrasment, diversity, gun control, and inequality have been at the epicenter of recent turmoils, and people aren't afraid to stand up anymore. Meet the new class of leaders who are changing the game by disrupting the industry's standards: From Daniela Vega, the first transgender person to present at the Oscars, to the journalists brave enough to go against Harvey Weinstein, and many more.
